The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)  Coordinator is located in and is part of the Community Development Department for Lexington County.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the ADA Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all programs and services provided by the County are accessible to people with disabilities.

The ADA Coordinator  assists architects, developers, business owners, landlords and others in designing or redesigning facilities so that they are accessible and usable by all persons, including those with disabilities
