The members of the Committee act in an advisory role to the Grant Programs Division of the Community Development Department. All committee members reside in Lexington County or represent organizations or businesses serving residents of Lexington County. Among the responsibilities of the Grant Programs Advisory Committee are to provide feedback to staff on annual grant project applications, to hear appeals from rehabilitation program applicants, and to serve as advocates for our grant programs in the community.
